Marine engine suppliers in Australia
Start with what you need to buy, then verify compatibility from the engine or drive model and serial number. We explain the evidence a credible supplier should provide; we do not rank businesses for payment.

Before requesting a quote
Send photographs of the engine and gearbox plates, the installed system, connections and available access. State the boat model, use, location and whether the quote should include removal, installation, commissioning and freight. For parts, give the serial number and confirm whether seals, fasteners or fitting kits are included.
For a repower, treat the engine as one component of a propulsion system. Gearbox ratio, propeller, shaft, exhaust, cooling, controls, electrical load and service access all need to agree. Our repower measurement guide creates a better briefing pack.
Supplier, distributor or installer?
An authorised distributor represents a manufacturer and may handle warranty registration, technical escalation and dealer support. A parts supplier may stock genuine, OEM and aftermarket alternatives. An installer is responsible for how the product works in the boat. One business can fill several roles, but the quote should say who owns design, commissioning and warranty responsibilities.
Browse the brand distributor guides, compare marine engine brands, or use the mechanic directory when installation or diagnosis is the real requirement.
