Corrections policy

We want factual errors, outdated specifications and misleading wording to be corrected promptly. A correction request does not need to be formal, but enough detail to locate and verify the issue helps us act faster.

Report an error

Use the contact form and include the page address, the wording or data in question, why it appears wrong and the best available evidence. For model-specific claims, a current manufacturer manual, technical bulletin or regulator publication is more useful than a forum or an unattributed summary.

What happens next

We compare the report with the page's sources and any current primary material. Clear errors are corrected; claims that cannot yet be verified may be qualified, removed or held from indexing. A substantial change should update the page date. Minor spelling, formatting and broken-link repairs may be made without a separate correction note.

We cannot promise a particular outcome when sources conflict. In that case, the page should explain the uncertainty and direct readers to the manual or authority governing their specific engine, installation or operation.

Business listings

Owners and authorised representatives can request changes to business names, contact details, service areas or listing status. Please identify your relationship to the business and provide a current public source where possible. We may remove a listing while disputed details are checked. Inclusion remains informational and is not an endorsement.
